Maura and Jeff’s wedding was a day to remember—a perfect mix of elegance, adventure, and a dash of humor. These globe-trotting lovebirds, just as likely to be spotted in photos next to an elephant as they are at the local sports bar, tied the knot in a day filled with unforgettable moments. The Arlo Williamsburg Hotel in Brooklyn, New York served as the backdrop for their stunning urban winter wedding, with the warm weather providing the perfect opportunity to capture breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline. With the whole day planned to a T, the only thing left to decide was who has the quirkier passion: Maura’s unwavering loyalty to the Bills or Jeff’s love of bubble gum.
Maura and her bridesmaids got ready in a water tower, turned chic bar, without question the crown jewel of Arlo Williamsburg’s property, setting the stage for a day of modern artsy fun. The "Mrs. Khoury” slippered bride and and her girls got glammed as they shared stories and laughs and heartfelt hand holds grinning all morning long.
Maura was absolutely radiant in her sleek, satin sleeveless Brandon Maxwell dress with a high collar, letting her natural beauty take center stage. One of the more emotional moments of the day came when Maura’s dad saw her in her dress for the first time. A father beaming with pride and fighting back tears is always going to pull your emotions and this photographer was not immune to the warmth and intimacy shared in this moment between Maura and her Dad.
The first look between Maura and the handsome groom, Jeff, took place on the water tower's balcony with the iconic Manhattan skyline as the backdrop. It was a touching, swelling moment that also wasn’t without tears as the couple took each other in and seemed to laugh endlessly lost in each other.
Afterward, we took epic wedding party photos on the same balcony, with the cityscape lending a dramatic, urban flair to the shots. Their bridal party was a CREW in every sense of the word, bringing non-stop game-time energy to the entire day. From the moment they arrived, it was clear they were there to support Maura and Jeff in the best way possible—full of laughter, love, and high spirits.
The ceremony itself was grand yet deeply personal. Tim, the officiant, struck the perfect balance of being heartfelt and ceremonious, making the moment even more special for Maura and Jeff.
As the day transitioned into evening, the candlelit ambiance of the reception hall glittered with all the thoughtful details the couple had planned. Dark jewel tones and beautiful florals by Hanato Floral Design added richness and depth to the décor, creating a romantic, cozy atmosphere that perfectly suited the season. Maura and Jeff had booked our Signature Package, which included full-day coverage and a second shooter, ensuring every moment was captured, from the emotional first look to the late-night afterparty. Maura’s Dad welcomed everyone and lead the night of toasts to the elegant couple. Ashleigh & Alex brought the house down with heartfelt and personal toasts that had everyone laughing and reaching for the tissues.
One of the standout moments of the reception was Maura’s flirty flapper-style dress change after dinner, which brought even more fun to the evening. Their guests certainly knew how to party, and with the help of the Midnight Soundtrack Band from Twilight Entertainment, the dance floor was packed all night long with guests of all ages rocking out to the greatest hits of the last half-century.
Behind the scenes, Jackie and Joanna with The Day Of Company worked tirelessly to make sure everything went off without a hitch, while Ageless Artistry kept Maura and her bridesmaids looking flawless all day long. After the main event, a swanky Art Deco-themed afterparty in Arlo Williamsburg’s Mirror Bar was the perfect cap to an incredible day. With delicious late-night fare and an elegant vibe, it was a party everyone will be talking about for years to come.
This was truly a wedding for the books—an elegant winter wonderland filled with love, laughter, and memories to last a lifetime. Maura and Jeff are perfect match. This wedding was a testament to their unique and adventurous love story, and we were honored to capture every unforgettable moment of it. Getting to relive the day again and again in the photos always has me thinking: Let’s GOOOOO!!!!!
